- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate ganache (for topping)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar and berries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale. Add cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 10β12 minutes.
- Turn the cake onto a towel dusted with powdered sugar. Roll it up gently and let cool.
- Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Unroll the cake, spread whipped cream, and roll it back up tightly.
- Cover with chocolate ganache and shape with a fork for a bark-like effect.
- Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with berries before serving.
