Description
This Sugar Cookie Flag Fruit Pizza is a sweet and festive 4th of July treat! A soft sugar cookie crust is topped with a creamy frosting and fresh fruit arranged in a patriotic flag design. Easy to make and always a crowd favorite at summer parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
- Optional: fresh raspberries or banana slices for extra stripes
Instructions
- Bake the Crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the sugar cookie dough into a 9×13-inch pan or onto a baking sheet to form a large rectangle. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden. Cool completely.
- Make the Frosting: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Frost the Base: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
- Decorate Like a Flag: Arrange blueberries in the top-left corner. Use sliced strawberries (and optional raspberries/bananas) to create red and white stripes across the rest of the pizza.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Want to go the extra mile? Use a star-shaped cutter to shape white fruit (like banana or apple) and place in the blueberry section. Make it ahead and store in the fridge for up to a day.
