- 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
- 24 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped

- Preheat oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make dough: In a bowl, mix cake mix, oil, and eggs until a soft dough forms.
- Shape: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar to coat.
- Place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes until set.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow to cool completely so the chocolate sets before serving.
Notes
For extra strawberry flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract. Chill the dough for 20 minutes if it’s too sticky to handle. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
