Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 green onion, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: Season beef with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill steak 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly.
- Cook Ramen: Boil ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Make Sauce: In a skillet, sauté garlic in sesame oil until fragrant. Add gochujang and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss Noodles: Add cooked noodles to the sauce and toss until coated and heated through.
- Assemble & Serve: Plate noodles, top with sliced grilled beef. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. Add steamed or sautéed veggies like bok choy or mushrooms for more texture and nutrition. Adjust spiciness by varying gochujang amount.
