  • 2 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 12 tsp sriracha or chili paste (adjust to taste)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds

  1. Cook beef: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook vegetables: In the same skillet, add remaining oil. Sauté onion, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add sauce: Return beef to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil. Add cornstarch mixture if using. Cook 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Serve: Spoon stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

You can add more vegetables like broccoli, carrots, or snap peas. Adjust the spice level to your taste by adding more or less sriracha.
