- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter, onions, and apples. Cook 5–6 minutes until softened and lightly caramelized.
- Stir in thyme, cinnamon, Dijon mustard, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Return pork chops to the skillet. Cover and cook 5–7 minutes until pork is cooked through (145°F/63°C internal temp).
- Serve warm with the apple-onion mixture spooned over the pork.
