- 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced

- 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Brown the Sausage: Add sausage slices and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: In the same pan, add onions and garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the Cabbage: Add sliced cabbage and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes until it starts to soften and caramelize.
- Make it Saucy: Return sausage to the pan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to coat evenly.
- Finish: Cook for another 2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.
Notes
For a low-carb option, serve as-is or with cauliflower rice. Swap cabbage with coleslaw mix for quicker prep. You can also use turkey sausage or plant-based alternatives.
