Description

This Quick and Easy Sweet Potato Casserole is creamy, buttery, and topped with a sweet crunchy pecan streusel. The perfect comforting side dish for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any cozy dinner!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 3 large)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, pecans, and melted butter to make the topping. Stir until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and slightly crisp on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
