Pool Party Jello Shots are sunshine in a cup — vibrant, fruity, and spiked just right! These easy-to-make layered or colorful shots are perfect for summer gatherings, BBQs, or any fun-in-the-sun celebration.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (3 oz) blue raspberry Jello
- 1 box (3 oz) pineapple or tropical punch Jello
- 2 cups boiling water (1 per flavor)
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup coconut rum (or vodka, split between layers)
- Gummy beach candies (fish, rings, bears, etc.)
- Mini paper umbrellas or drink toppers (optional)
- Plastic shot cups
Instructions
- First Layer: Dissolve 1 box of Jello (e.g. pineapple) in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in ½ cup cold water and ½ cup alcohol. Pour halfway into shot cups. Chill for 45–60 minutes until mostly set.
- Second Layer: Repeat process with blue raspberry Jello. Let cool slightly before pouring over the set first layer. Return to fridge to chill fully, at least 2 more hours.
- Decorate: Once fully set, top with gummy fish, bears, or rings for a playful, pool-inspired touch.
- Garnish: Add mini umbrellas or cocktail picks for flair. Serve chilled.
Notes
To keep layers clean, make sure the first layer is fully set before adding the next. Use clear cups for the best visual effect. Swap flavors to create custom tropical color combos!
