- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp pineapple juice

- Marinate chicken: Add chicken pieces to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1–4 hours for best flavor.
- Prep skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 20–30 minutes.
- Assemble kabobs: Thread chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating ingredients.
- Preheat grill: Heat grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil grates.
- Grill kabobs: Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning every 2–3 minutes and brushing with extra marinade until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
- Rest: Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For extra caramelization, brush kabobs with additional BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling. You can substitute chicken thighs for juicier results or add zucchini and mushrooms for more veggies. Serve with rice or a fresh salad.
