  • 68 tbsp ice water

  • 1 1/2 cups fruit jam (strawberry, raspberry, or mixed berry)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Finishing

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

  1. Make dough: Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add ice water gradually until dough forms. Chill 30 minutes.
  2. Roll dough: Roll out and cut into small circles for pie bases and flower shapes for tops.
  3. Fill: Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each base. Sprinkle cornstarch if using.
  4. Assemble: Place flower-shaped dough on top and gently seal edges.
  5. Egg wash: Brush tops with egg and milk mixture.
  6. Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  7. Finish: Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
