A rich and flavorful maple bourbon glaze perfect for drizzling over roasted vegetables, ham, or desserts for a sweet and boozy touch.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for a slight kick
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup, bourbon, and butter.
- Stir continuously until the butter is melted and the mixture begins to simmer.
- Add Dijon mustard, salt, and cayenne (if using), and whisk until smooth.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before drizzling over your dish.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, replace bourbon with apple cider or additional maple syrup.
