- Mini red candies or nonpareils (for ornaments, optional)
- Toothpicks or lollipop sticks (optional)
Instructions
- Remove the wrapper from the snack cakes and crumble them into a large mixing bowl.
- Add softened cream cheese and mix until a smooth, dough-like consistency forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, then shape slightly into cone/tree shapes.
- Insert a toothpick or lollipop stick if desired for easier dipping.
- Melt the chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle green sanding sugar over the chocolate before it sets. Decorate with mini red candies for ornaments.
- Allow chocolate to fully harden at room temperature or in the fridge before serving.
