Description
This Lavender Lemonade is a calming and elegant take on a classic summer drink. Infused with homemade lavender syrup, it’s subtly floral, perfectly tart, and naturally beautiful — perfect for brunches, baby showers, or afternoon relaxation.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- ½ cup lavender simple syrup (see notes)
- 3–4 cups cold water (to taste)
- Ice
- Optional: lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Make Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender. Bring to a simmer, stir until sugar dissolves, and let steep 10 minutes. Strain and cool.
- Mix: In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, lavender syrup, and 3–4 cups of cold water. Stir to combine.
- Taste & Adjust: Add more syrup for sweetness or water for dilution as desired.
- Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs if using.
Notes
Use culinary-grade dried lavender for the syrup. You can also use store-bought lavender syrup. For a fizzy version, replace half the water with sparkling water before serving.
