- 1–2 tbsp water
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- Cook the carrots: Add sliced carrots and 1–2 tbsp water to a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until just tender. Drain any excess water.
- Make the glaze: Add butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in honey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and brown sugar if using.
- Glaze: Cook uncovered for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glossy and lightly caramelized.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For oven-roasted carrots, toss all ingredients together and roast at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes. Add a pinch of chili flakes for a sweet-spicy variation.
