Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 cups baby carrots or sliced carrots
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: toasted sesame seeds or chopped parsley

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and green beans and cook 3–4 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic powder, then toss in the cooked carrots and green beans.
  4. Drizzle honey over the vegetables and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are heated through and glazed.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds or parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of balsamic vinegar or a sprinkle of fresh thyme. This recipe works well with frozen vegetables too; just adjust cooking time slightly.
