  • 1 lb (450g) carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks or rounds
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and cook 5–7 minutes until just tender. Drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and honey together, stirring until combined.
  3. Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the honey butter.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and cook 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed and heated through.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of orange juice while glazing. Serve immediately for best taste.
