  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 12 lemons)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

  2. Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Make sauce: In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and soy sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with sauce. Cook 1–2 more minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Serve over rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in half the honey-lemon mixture for 15–30 minutes before cooking. Adjust honey and lemon to taste for more sweetness or tang.
