This Hissy Fit Dip is warm, cheesy, creamy, and packed with irresistible flavor. Made with sausage, sour cream, cream cheese, and plenty of melted cheese, it’s the ultimate party dip—so good it might just make someone throw a hissy fit if it runs out!

- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, pepper jack, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked sausage until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
- Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, pita chips, or veggies.
Notes
For extra heat, use spicy sausage or add diced jalapeños. This dip can be made ahead and baked before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
