- 1 lb ground pork or chicken
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 carrots, julienned or shredded
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: cooked rice or noodles for serving

- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cabbage, carrots, and peas. Cook 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions. Optional: serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
You can swap pork for chicken, turkey, or tofu. Add a splash of sriracha for a spicy kick.
