Description

These Gooey Pecan Pie Brownies combine rich, fudgy brownies with a sweet, sticky pecan pie topping. A decadent dessert that’s perfect for holidays and special occasions.


Ingredients

    • Brownie Base:
    • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on package) OR homemade brownie batter

 

  • Pecan Pie Topping:
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans, chopped or halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe. Spread evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes (they should be partially baked).
  3. While brownies bake, prepare pecan pie topping: whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir in pecans.
  4. Pour pecan mixture over the partially baked brownies.
  5. Return to oven and bake an additional 25–30 minutes, until topping is set and golden.
  6. Cool completely before slicing into squares. The topping will firm up as it cools.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
