Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and molasses, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then coat each ball in powdered sugar.
- Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10β12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
