- 3–4 cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk

- Mini chocolate chips or edible eyes for ghost faces
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Prepare cake batter and fill each liner 2/3 full.
- Bake according to package directions and let cupcakes cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by beating butter until smooth, gradually adding powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Frost cupcakes with a tall swirl to resemble ghosts. Add chocolate chips or edible eyes for the ghost’s face.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
Notes
You can slightly tint the frosting gray for a spookier ghost look. Great for kids’ parties and Halloween treats.
