Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
  3. Add cheese: Stir shredded cheddar into the warm beef mixture.
  4. Prepare dough: Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a circle.
  5. Fill: Spoon beef mixture into the center, then wrap dough around and pinch to seal into a ball.
  6. Arrange: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Make topping: Mix melted butter with garlic and brush over each dough ball.
  8. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Finish: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to seal the dough well to prevent leaks while baking. You can swap cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for a flavor twist. Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or garlic aioli.
