Instructions
Instructions
- Toast the topping: In a small skillet over medium heat, combine the panko breadcrumbs with melted butter. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and parsley, then let cool.
- Prepare the dip: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add the mix-ins: Fold in the chopped dill pickles, cheddar cheese, and fresh dill until evenly combined.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the flavors can develop.
- Finish and serve: Sprinkle the toasted breadcrumb topping over the dip just before serving. Garnish with extra dill and pickle slices, then serve with chips, crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Pat the pickles dry before mixing to prevent excess moisture. Add the crispy breadcrumb topping just before serving so it stays crunchy. For a spicy version, stir in diced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
