- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk or cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, sugars, eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Spread mixture evenly in the prepared dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, pecans, and melted butter for the topping.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake for 35β40 minutes or until the topping is golden and crisp.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
