  • Author: Recipe Inspire
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings (about 16 meatballs) 1x

Description

These Garlic Meatballs are tender, juicy, and packed with bold garlic flavor. Perfect as a main dish, appetizer, or served over pasta, they’re an easy family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or a mix of beef and pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or more for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying, optional)
  • Optional: marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or prepare a skillet if pan-frying.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Form mixture into 1–2 inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or keep ready for frying).
  4. Bake meatballs for 18–20 minutes until cooked through and golden, or heat olive oil in a skillet and fry on medium heat, turning to brown all sides and cook through.
  5. Optional: Simmer cooked meatballs in marinara sauce for 5–10 minutes for extra flavor.
  6. Serve warm, alone or over pasta, rice, or in a sub sandwich.

Notes

For extra tenderness, soak breadcrumbs in milk for a few minutes before mixing. Ground turkey or chicken can be used for a lighter version. Garlic flavor can be intensified by roasting garlic first.
