- 4 cups fresh or canned peaches, sliced
- 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (plus 1–2 tbsp for sprinkling)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine peaches, raspberries, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Pour fruit mixture into prepared dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until a batter forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter evenly over the fruit. It will spread as it bakes.
- Sprinkle a little sugar on top for extra sweetness.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Optional: Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the topping for extra flavor. Can use frozen fruit if fresh is unavailable.
