- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: fresh cilantro
- Cooked rice or naan, for serving

- Add garlic and ginger, cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add spices (garam masala, cumin, turmeric, chili powder) and cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
- Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 10–15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce is creamy and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over rice or with naan, and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
Notes
You can marinate the chicken in yogurt and spices for 30 minutes beforehand for extra flavor. Adjust creaminess and spice level to taste.
