- Fill liners: Spoon alternating colors into cupcake liners for a swirled “fireworks” effect.
- Bake: Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
- Make frosting: Beat butter until fluffy, then gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Notes
For a more dramatic “fireworks” look, swirl the colored batters slightly but don’t fully mix. Cupcakes can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container.
