This Easy Crockpot Chili is perfect for busy days. Simply add all ingredients to your slow cooker and let it simmer into a hearty, flavorful chili with minimal effort.

- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the meat with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Add meat mixture and remaining ingredients to the crockpot.
- Stir to combine. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
- Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of beer or a pinch of cayenne pepper. This recipe freezes well for future meals.
