- Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine with garlic.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes more to heat through.
- Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes and serve warm over pasta, rice, or with bread.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or a splash of white wine to the sauce. Shrimp cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking to keep it tender.
