  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes

  2. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine with garlic.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes more to heat through.
  7. Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes and serve warm over pasta, rice, or with bread.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or a splash of white wine to the sauce. Shrimp cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking to keep it tender.
