- 1 box white or yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
- 1 package instant vanilla or cream cheese pudding mix (3.4 oz)
- 2 cups milk (for pudding)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip
- Red and green holiday sprinkles
- Optional: crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Prepare cake batter according to box directions and bake as instructed. Allow cake to cool slightly.
- Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
