Description

A simple, no-fuss dessert made with apples, caramel, and cake mix in the crockpot — perfectly gooey and comforting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples (about 6 medium)
  • 1 box yellow or spice cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Spray a 6-quart crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place the sliced apples evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apples evenly.
  4. Drizzle melted butter and caramel sauce over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or until apples are tender and the top is golden and set.
  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Notes

You can use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples for best results. Avoid stirring to keep the layered texture intact.
