A simple, no-fuss dessert made with apples, caramel, and cake mix in the crockpot — perfectly gooey and comforting.

- 6 cups peeled and sliced apples (about 6 medium)
- 1 box yellow or spice cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Spray a 6-quart crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the sliced apples evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apples evenly.
- Drizzle melted butter and caramel sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or until apples are tender and the top is golden and set.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
Notes
You can use Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples for best results. Avoid stirring to keep the layered texture intact.
