- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

- Use a potato masher or immersion blender to slightly mash the soup.
- Stir in cream cheese until fully melted and smooth.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and bacon; stir until melted.
- Season with pepper and salt if needed.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a thicker soup, mash more of the potatoes. For a thinner consistency, add extra broth or milk. This soup reheats beautifully and is even better the next day.
