- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream until well combined.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Toss in cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or sautéed vegetables for extra protein and flavor. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
