  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Optional: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add shredded Pepper Jack cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens.
  9. Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes to soak up the creamy sauce. Adjust spice level by using mild or extra spicy Pepper Jack cheese.
