These Christmas Tree Shortbread Sticks are a fun and festive holiday treat! ππͺ Buttery, crisp shortbread shaped like Christmas trees, decorated with colorful icing and sprinkles β perfect for holiday parties, gift boxes, or dessert tables.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Green royal icing for decorating
- Assorted sprinkles and edible decorations
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until dough forms.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into Christmas tree shapes using cookie cutters, or slice into stick shapes and form trees.
- Place cookies on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12β15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Decorate with green royal icing and add sprinkles or other edible decorations to resemble Christmas trees.

π‘ Tip: For a colorful touch, use mini candy pearls or edible glitter on your Christmas trees. These shortbread sticks also make a lovely gift when wrapped in cellophane and tied with a ribbon!
