Ingredients

- 9 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup red and green M&Ms
- 1/2 cup pretzels (optional)
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzle, optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract, then pour the mixture over the Chex cereal in a large bowl. Gently toss until evenly coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large ziplock bag and add powdered sugar. Shake until all pieces are well coated.
- Spread mixture onto parchment paper to cool completely.
- Once cooled, mix in red and green M&Ms and pretzels. Drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired.
- Store in an airtight container and enjoy for holiday snacking or gifting!
