- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup M&Ms or holiday candies
- 1/2 cup festive sprinkles
- 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, nuts, M&Ms, sprinkles, and coconut.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10β12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!
