- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bag (20–24 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups crushed nacho cheese Doritos
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a casserole dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked ground beef mixture and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared casserole dish.
- Top with crushed Doritos and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add diced bell peppers or jalapeños to the beef mixture. You can also substitute cream of mushroom soup or cream of cheddar soup for a different taste.
