- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce, for drizzling
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- In a separate bowl, toss chopped apples with cinnamon and brown sugar. Evenly distribute apples over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 35β40 minutes or until cheesecake is set and edges lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the bars and sprinkle with nuts if desired. Chill for 1 hour before cutting into squares.
