  2. Cream butter & sugar: In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in blueberries to avoid breaking them.
  5. Shape cookies: Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake: Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For more flavor, you can add 1 tsp lemon zest to the dough. Use fresh blueberries for the best texture. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
