  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté 4–5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes to release flavors.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beans. Stir to combine.
