- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating well.
- Stir in mashed bananas until fully incorporated.
- Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Optional: fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
- Pour batter into prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
For extra fudgy brownies, reduce flour by 2 tablespoons. Overripe bananas work best for maximum sweetness and moisture.
