- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Irish cream liqueur
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and Irish cream liqueur until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
For a stronger Irish cream flavor, add an extra tablespoon of liqueur. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
