- 6 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- Optional: ranch dressing for dipping

- Preheat oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Prepare jalapeños: Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes for less heat.
- Make filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and green onions.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap with bacon: Wrap each filled jalapeño with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
Wear gloves while handling jalapeños to avoid irritation. For extra crisp bacon, broil the bites for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking. You can also prepare them ahead and refrigerate before baking.
