Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Prepare cake batter and fill each liner 2/3 full.
- Bake according to package directions and allow cupcakes to cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by beating butter until smooth, gradually adding powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Frost each cupcake generously.
- Place a chocolate sugar cone on top of each frosted cupcake to resemble a witch hat. Decorate cones with sprinkles or candy details as desired.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
Notes
For extra stability, you can trim the cone to fit and use a little frosting to secure it. These cupcakes are fun for kids and adults alike!
