These White Chocolate Dipped Chewy Maple Cookies are soft, buttery, and filled with warm maple flavor—then dipped in creamy white chocolate for the perfect festive touch. They’re cozy, delicious, and ideal for fall baking or Christmas cookie trays!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • White Chocolate Dip:
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil (optional for smooth melting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir just until a soft dough forms.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  8. Let cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.
  9. Melt the white chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each.
  10. Dip half of each cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and set on parchment paper until hardened.

Notes

For stronger maple flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon maple extract. Sprinkle the dipped cookies with cinnamon sugar, crushed pecans, or flaky sea salt for an extra festive finish. Cookies store well for 4–5 days and freeze beautifully up to 2 months.
