- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: mozzarella cheese for topping

- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden.
- Transfer chicken to the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and minced garlic. Spoon over chicken.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven and top with parsley (and mozzarella if using). Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with roasted vegetables, pasta, or a fresh salad. For extra garlic knot flavor, brush with additional garlic butter right before serving.
